Mokuhanga: Traditional Japanese Woodblock Printmaking style of relief-printing that is eco-friendly using water-based inks and natural materials.
Yamanoha is a painter/printmaker who resides in Volcano and has taught art for many years. He studied Mokuhanga on a Monbusho (Japanese government) grant in Kyoto, Japan.
beginner's class - no experience ncessary - limit 12 people
Class fee: $200 ($180 for HJC members)
Supply fee: $40 (available through instructor)
